2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled (reserving 1 tablespoon bacon fat)
8 ounces blue cheese
1 clove fresh garlic
1 tablespoon snipped chives
Black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350º F
1. Beat cream cheese until smooth then add half and half until creamy.
2. Mix in the remaining ingredients including the bacon fat (if desired).
3. Pour into a greased ramekin or small baking dish and bake until golden and bubbly, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
