Our own special blend of spices, measured with care. Because of the larger grains, we use Kosher salt, it stands up to most foods better than ordinary table salt. Try it on any meat, fish, in sauces, casseroles, egg dishes and so much more. Make it long lasting by using fresh spices and seasonings. Used in moderation this is a handy kitchen staple.
- 5 tablespoons Kosher salt
- 3 teaspoons paprika
- 3 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground dried oregano
- 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cumin (optional)
- Mix all ingredients until uniform and store in an airtight jar or container.
