Soup’s On

Soup seems the  perfect lighter fare after the holidays.  We have some good ideas stirring (no pun intended) and will be busy in the kitchen this week and next experimenting and posting the best of our efforts.  For starters take a look at these two recipes, the ingredients are very similar, but the techniques not,  thus creating two very different soups.  Carrots and  paprika are the dominant flavors by choice and the combinations are happy.
